Please allow me to introduce myself…

Growing up in the upper Midwest, in a town of 87 people (or 84, depending on which road sign you read), dinner was rarely eating out, but instead cleaning the dirt off of fresh garden produce, washing the chicken’s eggs from that morning, or eating organic meat from the farm next door.  I was raised with a curiosity of all flavors, and creating dishes that often showcase a supporting ingredient became not only a challenge for me but a passion of mine.  My hope with this journey is to share what I have already learned, and also fumble through the process of new adventures together.  It may not always be perfectly polished, but it will be an enjoyable experience and usually end up delicious…usually.
