Baked Salmon with Hot Pepper Avocado Sauce
Weeknight dinner solved! While this meals packs lots of flavors, it comes together quickly and easily for impressive dinner on the go!
Easy does it! I love cooking meals full of flavor and a little pizzazz for hosting, but not necessarily taking a lot of time to prepare. I find a good trick to accomplish this is great sauces (bonus points if I can make ahead of time), and fresh garnishes! This dinner is no more than an easy salt and pepper seasoning and your air fryer, yet comes together with complex flavors from the sauce. A perfect solution for quick dinners or easy hosting options!
All about balance. I am a huge fan of spicy foods, but there are definitely some rules to adhere by. Spice loves oil, and when using a lot of oily bases, you spread the heat, creating a more intense and lasting flavor. On the opposite end, dairy tames the heat by giving a coating to override the pepper oils, which allows a spicy flavor without the lasting heat. For this dish, I opted for a dairy base because I was using a much hotter pepper, resulting in a fantastic flavor without the lasting burn. Your guests will thank you!
It’s pepper season!! So many of these recipes are versatile depending on your harvest and spice preference. Let me know what you think!
